Custom Portrait for a Pennywise Fan

My son is a true Halloween baby at heart. He loves thriller type kids games, spooky movies, and pretend play. All year round he requests costumes including Pennywise and Georgie.

If you haven’t seen the movie It, you don’t have to watch it to know this scene. The just of it was in the official trailer.

Backstory

Georgie is a little boy playing in the rain with his paper boat. It gets swept away with the current along the curb and falls into the sewer where Pennywise, the killer clown, appears with Georgie’s boat in hand. He sweet talks Georgie into trusting him enough to reach in for the boat and then takes a shark-sized bite of his arm and drags him underground.

The Art of Portrait Painting

The art of portrait painting was quite the challenge. I spent countless hours trying to get it right, it was a process of trial and error. Every detail matters from color matching skin tone, shading, symmetry, and hair. When I decided to change the story, perception and making the street look wet challenged me the most.
